Only Human

Birthday was on the 21st in case you're new to the blog. Had much fun thanks to many caring friends. I should be extremely happy. But then again, I am only human to let the little disappointment play in my mind for a long time. I guess I've come to realize my weakest attribute, the ability to ignore unhappy things. Or something like that.

Yea, birthday was fun. Everyone who was anyone wished except for one. I guess it's the 21st century and calling yourself a good friend bears little or no meaning at all. To be able to erase people whom you call friends so easily is worse than being me( one who finds it too difficult to erase grudges). I guess you can say I'm only human to not be able to let go. But I guess erasing a friend easily just makes you not a human being.

Just felt like putting that up. Using the roommates laptop now as he is sleeping. My laptop is still suffering from the inability to get any connections let it be LAN or WLAN. But there's always a phone. But that too is too expensive. Until, the next chance I get.....

Was 14 marks less than the actual one. OMG!! Haha. Have to check the rest then. I didn't get makrs from my tests. ahah

Been back since Thursday night. Just realise my displacement has been zero. Been going here and there, with so many car rides, bus rides, flights.. i end up back home. Haha. Nevertheless happy to be home as I have not been for quite sometime. The last time I came back was for the H1N1 week.

Changed my blog template with Chua's help. Too lazy to fully update the links and stuff.

Saw in Vyner's blog, "can I die and live again as another person?". Not the first time the thought struck me. To live as another person I never would imagine. Maybe I would just look different but then I guess living as another person just isn't too much fun. But I have thought about being born as another being though.

Housefly!

My number one choice. Analyze the life of a housefly. You have a short carefree life. First you're hatched as a maggot. You'll practically eat anything . When you reach adult flyhood life gets better. You get to fly around all day long and stop by for food or anything whenever you want to. Even shit smells good. What could seem negative in such a life that it would make you sad?

In the event of a fly swatter, well death is almost instant. :)

Orang utan.

This one hit me when I went to Semenggoh with friends the last sem break. Haha. You're moved into a sanctuary where no one is to harm you. Everyday someone provides you with food. ON top of that, every year ten of thousands of people come by to watch you hang by the vines. That's cool XD

Just the two creatures I would want to be. HAHA. Anyways if things like reincarnation doesn't exist or is not necessary then I would choose to be an angel ... cause i'm an angelic person.

Just felt the need to crap here since my sleep was disrupted and thus...I have a bit of free time.

Class starts at 12 today and so the feeling of going to bed isn't here just yet. Thought of changing the outlook of my blog. Though still quite similar but just something to make you feel as though you've entered another space on the net.

So found this picture, a picture of the box containing my suit and shoes which was posted here not too long ago. It makes a good header and thus new name and description for the blog. A blog I guess is for leisure bloggers just some place you would dump things which you want to share with people but no one in specific. In the blog, you don't need a stamp. And yeah, it's like putting your thoughts in text and posting it to the blog. Unless your the too free to do anything else blogger than I'm not too sure what's your blog for. :)

Can't help but to admire my blog. I think it looks it's best now :)

Good or bad?

Many a times people think so much about the good and bad of something an ultimately draw conclusions based on some facts they got out of the net or something someone just happened to let them know. Well was thinking cause just asked Mike's brother to tapau maggi goreng. Here's the rationalization of some:

case1: One supper too many

Generally people will come up to you and say that supper is not good . It makes you fat and on top of that soon when you realised you've had one supper too many you'll be in for diseases or illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure etc.

Think about this and don't eat supper. Then you'll die the other way. Being depressed caused you've been thinking so much about supper. Picking up gastric on the way..and dying somehow. muahahahaha.

case 2: Oily food

Here's one I recall from having lunch with Jenny at v3 sometime ago. We all ordered chicken chop. Everyone's plate was empty by the time they were done but Jenny had all this chicken skin n such left on the plate. He said he didn't want to die of heart attack.

Well then I told him that if you're gonna die you're gonna die. Jenny says dying in an accident is much faster and painless. Well then again, I told him he might break his neck then someone will have to feed him through a tube in the neck. That's more painful I guess.

case 3: Supersavers

Not a big fan of financial savings. Anyways still think saving a little is just great. But still there are 'supersavers' who says i overspend and should cut down. If you took sometime to think long-sightedly you might see the world the way i see it. Haha.

Some people save cause they are afraid of getting some bad bad catastrophic thing happening in their lives which might call for huge sums of cash. Hmmm..I guess that's thee subconcious telling them and by the law of attraction... what your subconcious believes will happen does happen. Haha. So if you're saving for those reason..hmm... better save more.

People always say the more you give, the more you get. The more I give to the cashier, somehow the more i'll get back?

case 4: Sleeping 8 hours a day

Human beings are required to have 8 hours of sleep. Some people hold dear to this and do sleep at 8. Well you can but I recall a physics lecturer of mine from last year which said, you have 24 hours a day. I f you wish to live for a hundred years then do so. stop sleeping. Quite through. The average human being live for what..70 yrs? So if you sleep 8 hours a day means you're only living two thirds of your 70 years.

case 5: Why la so expensive?

Why did you 200 dollar shoe when you could have gotten the 50 dollar one? Again...think ! Haha. Let's say a shoe of 200 dollars last a year . And a 50 dollar one lasts 2 months... So the conclusion is?It's exactly like buying 5 small pringles instead of one big one which would end up being much much cheaper.

Case 6: Room cleanliness

My room is my room. That's why it should be however or messy I wish for it to be. The world has a amount of rubbish. Im just doing the world some good buy keeping some of the cleaner garbage here so that the rubbish dump doesn't get filled up too soon. But seriously, I don't see the point of having a superclean room. Kepping a room clean means more work to clean and such. But adirty room will also have a cosy feel for you but you need 10 times less work to make it that way. Hahahahahahaha

I think that's enough of brain food for some of you who might feel sad. In the future I hope I'll have more to crap about.

Moral Project: Praise Girls Home in Ipoh. Went there to fulfill the moral course

requirements. The experience was fun. Playing with little kids who just don't

care bout anything but electronics. Though a kid or two maths using mandarin. Big improvement for me. Haha. Won't mind going again just for the fun of it.

UDCN: Universiti Teknologi Petronas Deepavali and Indian Cultural Night

Got to wear my Jeepa again. Was committee for the souvenir and prizes department. Lots if last minute work . Bad organization. I still can't get over the fact that HODS AND A

HODS certs are required by the PD to have ic number and everyone else no need. Well screw the PD. Printed my own with IC but I still don't like the fact he asked for that. Can't find where i ditched the pictures.

Camp: Geomatics survey camp in Ayer Tawar . Kampung Baru . 3 days 2 nights . Had fun. Missed the barbecue night though for prom.

Prom: Masquerade ball at the tower regency hotel. The hotel was nice. the prom was ok. everyone looked nice though. :)

General: So here's the new updates coming.Going to India on the 10-16th december. Landing in Kochi, Kerala and then going over to Tamilnadu. Under the Rotaract goodwill trip.

Hi people. Been way long. Can't find the mood to update people on me! Haha
Jz finished mid sem break with a five hour class day today. Didn't go back Kuching. Only went to KL for four days and the rest were back in UTP. That's Raya 09. Cooked with law, vyner n harold in utp. Quite fun n nice. But thn made me crave those fast foods waiting for me in kl. Went to kl. Bout a shoe, yellow shoe. Too lazy for photos.

Picked up my violin again during mid sem break. Downloaded the full Sonata IV(D major) by Handel. Had fun. NOw found the full Spring by vivaldi. Awesome website. Looking for the violin part for Hungarian Dance No.5.

Oh yeah got a multi colour slipper too when in Kl. Had fun with ee rong, marcel n mich. Watched BEP. First ever real live concert. I mean its an upgrade from the tonnes of classical concerts, christian concerts. Black Eyed Peas. NOW THAT'S SOMETHING.

Timetable for exams are out. Mine finishes on the 24th Nov.Cant wait. 7 weeks more to go. Around 4-5 more weeks for lectures. Deepavali NIght celebration this Saturday. Moon cake on sunday but not involved.

Nowadays, getting people's attention just ain't as easy. A sledgehammer and a loud scream is needed. That is why I put the title XYZ for the post. Not that it has no relevance but just imagine I put instead, boring week. What a turn off. Anyways.. I put XYZ cause 5 out of the 6 subjects I take this sem has it. I hear the phrase 'XYZ axis' everyday. Apply however you like, the earth's surface, satelite calculation, structures and so on, I get in every form you could imagine. Maybe that's why most days after class I feel ZZZ.So today, I had a feeling it wasn't going to be the greatest of all days. The weather in the morning was absolutely perfect , for sleeping that is. Sad though that I had 8 in the morning. It was almost impossible to drag myself out of bed and then walk 20 minutes to the lab. Geomatics lab, a fun lab but today, the instruments decided to run out of battery one by one. Wasting me and my group mates time. Was actually at the lab for more than 4 hours.

Then had mail to take from the mail office. Urgent. "Maaf, kami nak tutup sudah pergi sembahyang." Damn! Reached the door of the mail office and the guy standing there told me this. Was there asking him to let me get the mail explaining it only takes 2 minutes to take it there and then but like a long long time for me to come back and take, Well actually wasted a longer time asking him to let me take it then how much time it would have taken for him to just give me the mail. The amount of equipment we eneded up using although there were still a few not included in the picture. Other groups used much less.

So the story of the Geomatics lab continues. Since tomorrow is the first day of Ramadhan, lab is cancelled. So is everyone lab session during the Ramadhan period except those on next friday. Guess what, had to do GPS this afternoon meaning skipping moral class. The afternoon lab starts at 4.30 according to the sheet of paper outside the lab. Apparently there was a verbal announcement that lab had changed to 3. So I was late for lab after taking my mail at 4.10. Anyhows, it was GPS and actually got the results . Haha. A 45 minute lab. Besides that another interesting lab would be geology. Rocks and minerals everyday. Haha.

That marked the end of labs, lectures and tutorials for this week. A relief. This week felt busy. With a bunch of classes and some meetings here and there. Had 6 hours of Geomatics lecture and I thought I was going to have 12 hours of Geomatics lab. Phew! Bookfair is just around the corner too so there were a few things there but mostly Kalai took care of them. There were a few days this week that started at 8 or 9 and ended at 5 and also those that ended at 10p.m. It's unhealthy to have let's say, 9 hours of class a day?

So been relaxing the whole evening. Academia pushed aside. Grabbed a bottle of Mister Potato and a bottle of yoghurt drinks and watched Se7en, Cool movie. Storyline of a serial killer killing using the seven deadly sins of men as his motive. Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Pride, Envy, Wrath and... somehow always short of one when I recall. Cool movie seriously Everyone should watch it.

Haven't updated this blog for ages now. Haha. There's a few things and photos to share. Firstly of a camera. Olympus UZ590sp. oO.

Worth taking a look. 26x digital zoom and lots more other cool features including face detection up to 16 faces and a 10fps (3MP) pre-capture technology. Then there's this super cool casio watch. Was planning to get these sometime not too far in the future but then, a few trip plans came up. Nearest in time, to Ca,erons on the 5th. Then there's the great Raya Trip. Haha. Then there's a trip to Aus next June. Then Sandeep has told of possibly a Rotaract trip to India. OMG. Haha. Time to save.Being broke before the trips is not an option. Being broke after might be. Haha.

Anyways. this weekend will be involved in the 30 hour famine programme.

In laymen's term, 30 hour diet as a shoutout against world hunger. Still not sure how tens of thousands of people starving themselves for 30 hours would help those whore are actually starving.

Anyways, on Sunday will go together with other participants to Bukit Jalil. Yay! Guang liang coming. Woohoo. Then the rest I do not know. Taiwanese artists.

Oh yeah, my Civil batch had a google group. Cool thing this google group service by google. Practicallity at it's best. The coolest discussion with hundreds of reply was for the design of a batch t-shirt. Two thumbs up to Mesol for a great design.

I would give myself three thumbs up for the editing of it but looks like most going for the non-edited version. Haha.

Don't know how much printing costs will total up to but I guess a lot cause we have a tonne of things to print on the shirt including a name and number. So three t-shirts to look forward to. One famine, bookfair and batch t-shirt. Also, my Chindian batch also has a Google group and a facebook profile. Wow!

Somewhere sometime in the week there was Chua's birthday too. We had Pizza. Here's a picture of him withe the overloaded salad bowl.

My printer is back to life too. It was just the cable which had a problem.

Song lyrics..undoubtedly very meaningful words that artists have put into a song form. If one song can be quite meaningful then maybe a whole bunch of selected words combined together would be nice. Quite bored now having one week long holds but now can't sleep and got nothing better to do. Listened to a few songs to put together. Here's something fun.. the first person to be able to tell me a ll the names of the songs i got these words from I would treat you a chicken chop? sounds lame..but I'm bored and you could try too.Green words for my own words to bind the lyrics together. the rest would be one colour per song.

Been thinking of change these past few days. Changing bits and pieces of lifestyle that would add to a better being. Anyways, what I changed today is the blog title. From a 'Space That Revolves Around Me' to ' The Asylum of Narcism'. Saw Ah Hoo's blog, Pace towards the memoir of mine. It sounds cool. Thought I should have a cool title for my blog too.

In my efforts of unearthing my life's proximity to inhumane narcissim I went to google for a thesaurus that would supply me with all the bombastic words to spice up my blog title. In the end stuck with words I knew . The words in the thesaurus didn't sound cool. Any comments or suggestions on the blog title?? :)

The norm post for the day before the semester starts. Everyone who's anyone who has a blog surely has this post. A post for the day before the start of semester. Finally got a timetable done. I mean I had but there were changes.

Looks ok. 18 credit hours for this semester. The same as the last I guess. Last semester was a bust. Now have to reassess. I guess pre-lecture preparations would come in very handy as well as pre lab. Have six subjects this semester but four of which has at a two hour lab with Geomatics having a four hour lab. The white spaces are time with no classes.

Anyways this semester there are 3 goals to achieve. Not going to elaborate.Actually went to the library on Friday. First time going to the IRC before semester starts. Officially retiring from Dota, DC. Having oats for breakfast skipping lunch. Cooking on weekends. Learning mandarin . All these are some efforts for the 3 goals ;)

Being back to UTP is always something to look forward to. Every trip back to UTP promises tonnes of surprises. Came back one week early for UTP Chinese Orchestra. Surely but sadly enough, had to leave my beloved orchestra family behind after some shocking news :(

That being said, I was bored for a few days. Having fun playing sports with Mike and Tamil. Anyways, when Kalai came back the promise of surprise and excitement came along with him.

Meet Kalaimany. My friend from Sepang, home of LCCT and the Sepang F1 circuit. Don't forget KLIA too. Haha. Kalai decided to be cute this sem so he put on this brand new hip and hot hair cut. He's doing it monk style.

So today 19 people, in four cars went to Ipoh for Harry Potter. Stopped at Foh San this super duper big Dim Sum place. Then went to watch Harry Potter which wasn't so great. Anyways, me and Mike finally got the hot plate and pans we wanted for our room together with utensils and can stuff. Haha. I got a new bottle of shampoo. The girl(s) claimed that the rejoice I was using has a strong uninviting smell. So I changed to this orange coloured thing.

Then we went Kampung Bali. UTP had it's first traffic jam because tonnes of people loaded the uni for the AL-QURAN thingy. The Sultan was coming so there were tonnes of police in the uni. Then the final bit, we got our Chindian t-shirt. The ever so waited shirt.SHARING IS CARING.

Here's a life long investment. One which the payment can be made at MPH. Haha. Got a mandarin box. Berlitz Intermediate Mandarin Chinese. It comes with a book, and three cd's costing just ten cents under a hundred ringgit. Soon I'll master the ancient language and speak to you like a China Man. :)

Got my phone fixed too. Changed the damn screen and reformated the phone. Now it's like a new phone. for those who laughed at it's suckiness before....take it back. I'm sure the shop in Bintulu would want to make a deal now. :)

Big time travelling

Conquering land, sea and air, the westies came to visit the east. A total of two groups, around 20 people all from UTP came over to Sarawak. Group one consisted of Liang Yi, Fang Yee, Shih Gin, Jia Lin, Laura, Xiao Ci, Pei Ying, Michael and me. The members of the group often changed with Serena replacing Laura in Bintulu. Haha. Where group one went?? Kuching, Sibu and then Bintulu. From the 1st of July to the 7th of July. An amazing week. Group 2 had and still has Lim, Kerry, Chua, Yi Herng, Steward, Jenny, Chin, Eric, Lawrence, Vyner, Hon, . NOt sure whether did I leave anyone out here. Group 2 has a ten day tour of Sarawak which is still taking place. They will eventually finish visiting Kuching, Bintulu and Miri.

In Kuching, going out was a bit difficult because of the big number. Me, Kerry , Kerry's dad and Vyner's someone drove. Everywhere we went we had to wait for everyone and it wasn't easy.

Back and tired from a five day vacation to Bali. Went with Kalai, Calvin, Sandeep, JJ, Kuhan and Kerry.My terrible room mate was supposed to go but he pulled out at the last minute. Left Kuching on the 15th of June. rEACHED lcct at midnight then went to Kalai's house.Had fried mee and tosai in Kalai's house, the SEPANG house. Next morning went to LCCT again. The rest of the trip was filled with jokes, sleep, sleep, and more sleep. Three hours form LCCT, Kuala Lumpur to Denpasar, Bali.

First steps out of the airport, we were not so sure where to go or who to meet. Haha. Sandeep's cousin or some sort of relative, renjeev was there to help. Hellping us get a cab hotel and all.

We ended up in Kendi Mas. A nice little hotel right in Kuta. At first we were very doubtful as this hotel has no stars and seems quite cheap. Haha. We took it for a night first and in the end extended it to 4 nights.

We wondered around so long looking for a nice place to eat. Hoping for an authentic Balinese meal. Since Kuta is like this2 extreme tourism spot, they only have all this western cuisines and such. That's why we ate McD besides the fact that Calvin was constantly pestering us to have McD. The McD not as nice as Malaysia. We did not plan anything for the first night so we went around looking and sight seeing in Kuta. :)

Do I look too decent???

Walking in a mall filled with ah beng and ah lians, or rather known by west malaysians as lalas, i compared myself to the punk outifts, the darks eye shadow, the one eye blind hairstyle and the poor man's many holes jeans. Hahaha . And i wondered. Do i??

I've asked a few. Haha, One said witht he hair , the specs, i had...the face...it's impossible to adopt the non-decent look. I guess...maybe. with the tall hair and the adorable face how do i?? Any suggestions?? haha.

Awesome beyond the imagination of mankind. Wanfook has come up with one of the greatest headers ever. I make myself proud. Vanity of the highest level, I came up with this neader using low tech technology. Utilising 4 different pictures and the paint software.

Definitely not my best pictures, i think one of my worst pictures . But hey, it's still me and I guess looking good or not in the picture, it's still me?? Haha.

Statics and dynamics is this saturday, 24 hours more to study. 24 hours more to total freeness. Can't wait. These past few days have been different. The block is slowly emptying. Running the examathon.

People all over the world of diferent colours and shapes, run many races in their lives, from the every famous rat race to the physically taxing marathons. Nevertheless, only great men run the examathon, the 27 hours examathon. Started at 9.00 a.m. on Friday the 15th ofMay to 12 p.m. on Saturday the 16th of May . Who knew that completing this examathon would leave such a great feeling of satisfaction and euphoria on me.

Late nights after late nights tryng to grasp as much as I can to sustain the mega wave of the academic curse I thought I would actually run out of midnight oil to burn. Who would have thought I'm still alive, very much alert and ready for more. The tiredness started from Tuesday night when I did not get enough sleep. then Wednesday night was the same. Friday morning, HSE, I felt as though I nearly slept half way through the paper. DE in the afternoon seemed so distant. Had my first can of Red Bull in oer a year. Hoping it would work. I think it might have or the thought that it might work actually made it work. Made it through DE.

SP. Structured Programming, learning the language of C++ and Structured Query Language has actually been one of hte most enjoyable subjects this semester. Difficult it might be, it is fun to do.

I'm done witht the examathon. Time for a thon that everyone wants. Movieathon and dotathon. Started my dotathon since 1 p.m. Played 4 games straight. Played till 5 something when Calvin called for dinner. Going to continue when people come back from sleep, sports Ipoh. Haha. Cannot wait to play some more. Many more. Then when everyone is toot ired to play some moe, it's 90210 time. Been holding back from 90210 for awhile. Taking a two day break before starting my preparations to have the big smackdown with EM.

The smackdown with EM. hAPPENING NEXT SATURDAY AT 9 AM TILL 12 NOON. Can't wait. After that I'll be enjoying my 2 months holidays in Kuching and such!~!!!!!

Pushing it

Realising the magnitude of the three tests to come, the significance each of the finals marks would bring, I've been pushing myself toread more, driving forward , thinking positive. Tossing and turning, I wish I could have slept better on Tuesday night. Jumping into bed at 4a.m, I think I never really got any sleep. Waking up every half hour because of something. Because it's too hot, hamster too noisy, can tell other hamster on floor, thinking of finals. It wasn't until 8 a.m. that I actually dosed off and woke up at freaking 10a.m. Two hours of sleep seriously was not the ideal sleeping hours I wished for. The afternoon was the same. Went to bed at 2.30p.m, electricity got cut off at 3.00p.m. Oh my. I wasn't meant to sleep.

Before I continue my pointful babbling about the small amounts of sleep I've been getting, I forgot to tel you all bout the present I got when I woke up from my two hour beauty sleep. The supervisor, the satanic creature with a sadistic heart, the evil eyes, left me and michael, my roommate an envelope each . It was a fine. A fine for breaking our door. Fifteen each. Wasn't the best present someone could hope for but it's still one that we laughed at.

Oh yeah, then decided not to sleep in the afternoon and do some de. Then after dinner read lots of hse and did some past papers. Then it was dota at eleven. Haha. At twelve, we went down to throw eggs at Malaya. Could not get an egg at him because Kalai could not control himself and started before us. Then the new plan was to throw at Kalai. Did not in the end. Ended throwing the one in my hand at Kuahan. Hahaha

Coming back to my room, I thought I would read a bit and then sleep. Calvin came and the HSE madness mood was kicking in. We did and did more HSE till 3 something when I was over famished. Went mamak, came back at 4. Did more HSE. Lim came. Then we continued doing more HSE plus a lot of nonsense talk, till 5.45 a.m. Ah. Haha. Now 11A.M just woke up. Going to do HSE in awhile then DE. The two exams tomoro are seriously scary to think about. Can't wait for Saturday afternoon where I'll be free. Argh!!!!

In a world where the drama of electronic entertainment has reached a level so intensively extensive, exams still bugs everyone around . Seven subjects with five finals. One finals done four more to go. Enough witht he whining. Enough with the complaining. Everyone has to face the same thing now or then. Now it's time to focus and study. Never forget play never forget fun.

Speaking of fun, my room mate, he who challenged virtually everyone facebook to get a hundred for his quiz by offering a lamb shank for he who gets hundred spark my human instinct to punce at the challenge. An easy challenge, by hook or by crook to get a 1005 for his quiz. And guess what, I was accused of cheating so I'm not getting any shanks!! I say this is a whole load of crap and I deserve one. Being stressed out over the three finals which will ocme crashing in two days over no more than 24 hours starting on friday morning, armed with my preserverance and battle fury, i'm ready to take them on for a triple kill to fuel my kiling spree. By next Saturday I will be unstoppable. Well I'm typing like this cause in five minutes time, I will be playing a game of DOTA. Yi herng, the dota game clock, has come back from irc. The saying goes, when Yi herng is studying in the

library, we study in room. When he comes back at twelve, dota after he showers.

Quite a productive day I've had today. Underestimated my study capabilities I actually made some progress on the acadmic yard stick. Conquering some parts of DE and solving the mind puzzles of structured programming. Rising at nie, like a zombie from the dead, I took

a shower and dropped dead on the bed. Never having the actual mood to enslave my brains to books and lecture slides so ealy in the morning.

Lunch, the ignition key for my day. A serving of fried chicken, beehon, sausages and nuggets. Actually came back to the room did some de before Michael invited me for a drink. Ended up ta pauing some food for people. Drinking two liong fan sui at ong huat. Then went over t

o tronoh for 'So-*hai*'s ' wheel. The wheel with a stand which I have been searching for so long. For your info, my hamsters are now names, so-c*hai, fei-c*hai, and ma-*hai. Too lazy

to elaborate. Put the wheel and so-*hai in a shoe box. Actually looks nice.

Did more de when I got back. Then did some laundry which ended up in this, the window of underwears. 22 pairs!!!!

Then here came diner. Some pork...haha. Then roti canai. Then came sp. If Yi Herng has unstoppable studies, then I must be having a beyond godlike streak of sp. covering fundamental data types to streams. Later after dota will plunge into the depths of mind boggling database systems. I hope the kau nescafe ice would drive me further than primax pet

rol drives a car. Fearing my mind would explode when studying toom much, i equipped myself with proper equipment as you can see.

Every now and then I had been interupted, but that's usual. The fun thing is I read bout a zipper dress, the iphone, mike and his idea to win a free iphone by doing a blogpost about mcd mcvalue meal, some illusion thingy and many other crap thingy. It was fun. Haha. Just finshed a game of dota. Haha.

Oh yeah, I forgot bout the laptop lock thing. Well a lock is hard to unlock until you find the key. Guess what? I locked my laptop and left the two keys forit right next to the laptop. Hahahaha. Of course nothing happened cause I'm still haha-ing.

Now sp streaks continues. Moving to database systems soon. Life's a bore!! Haha.

COUNTING DOWN

Study week, finally coming to an end. A brief study week that has seen many people atudying and of course playing at the same time. The final day, what I did, was nearly the same like any other day of the study week except to the end. We're at it again. Mike locked the door but when we came back, where is the key?? Back to brute force. Utilising two a brick and a piece of concrete or something like that, I tried to break the pad lock. Tri-circle sure do make great locks. It didn't break. So we looked for wonder leg, my leg since we decided the wood was easier to break. So we did.

In total, I think this is the 5th time we've broken into our own room by brute force . Twice before kicking the door open. Twice other by using screw drivers to break the tiny locks we used to use. Don't forget the times we used card to open the door. Anyways it was fun. Finished reading academic writing . Got bored so made a new header. Interpret it.

Shaving the moustache

Here's one post I have been wanting to write up for nearly a week. Since the semeter started, I have not shaved my moustache. Haha.Too lazy to rotate the photo.

Many comments were given for the ever growing moustache although still quite bare . I think it looks sexy. Haha. But no one ever gave that comment. I think all were negative. Haha. Even Chua didn't want a kiss when I had a moustache.

So I decided to search for the shaver but I just couldn't find it. Went to Kopetro to get one shaver. My...there's so many choices of blade. Do you get the cheap one, the expensive on or the medium ranged one. They all look quite the same hough. Ended up getting the cheap one. A Gillette Buick 2.

Since installing the new roof over the aquarium, it has been realy troublesome to put food into the aquarium. So I came up with the never go hungry again automatic hamster feeder using nothing but a Pringles bottle and salotape.

Quite ingenius I must say. Haha. Now there's a lot of space for the hamsters as there is a floating wheel and bottle. What more there will always be food. There's also a house cum stairs for the hamster to reach the floating wheel.

Meet The Hamsters!!!

"Cool, a hamster in the drain:,said Graham to his friends. They, Law, Mike, Chua, Eric....not too sure who else..sorry if I forogt..haha....decided to catch. Contemplating on where to put the hamster, they decided, the not so old aquarium in my room was a perfect spot.

This hamster still unnamed till today shall be known as, the Brown hamster. This is about the first.

Then Kuhan comes back from KL and say,"Lonely la the thing. Come go get another one". That's where the second hamster comes in. Now it is better known as the black hamster.

There has been many layouts to the living space of these two hamsters. Utilising an aquarium, toilet rolls, parts from a cage, used bottles and mineral bottles. All these because the hamster had run out of the cage many times before. The brown hamster actually survived a whole week in the room. That's for the two.

Here come fatso! The third hamsters a pig.

Well it's not mine. It's actually a visiting hamster. Afiq, PE guy from a few doors away is leaving his hamster for a few days or weeks in my room as his female hamster is pregnanet and fears two might be a problem when one of it gives birth. Since fatso came, brown and black were separated. Black with fatso and brown in a blue cage. Brown is of different spesis and is not so playable by humans . Haha.

Everybody shouldn get pets like hamsters. They like to play with each other.

My STE!!

After a week being in the Agrotech resort, Ulu Langat, all I can say that I have been to my STE. Everyone had so many stories about their STE'S. How boring the indoor lectures were, how dreadful the place was, how they wished they could have spent their one week so differently. I have been there and I can say, I wouldn't mind going again.

The whole time before going for this camp I was thinking of how much nicer it would to be able to go home, or even Ipoh. In the bus, I was so not excited.

The again...look at the nice view of the place, maybe it's not like what they said.

We had many activities. One of them was being given an egg. We were to wrap it in paper and make sure it doesn't break for the five days.

We had indoor classes the whole week. A lthough there was supposed to be one outdoor session , it rained and we played the indoor game, indoors.

Finally the English 2 course evaluation for drama is over. Breathing a sigh of relieve, I leave behind what could and hopefully is the last drama i'll be in my life. So here it is. I resign from the drama industry. It's been fun to work with Eric, Jenny, Serena and Chin.

Though I always dreaded practises, it was fun in one way or another. Though I say it;s fun, I do not wish to have to do it again. :) Hopefully the evaluation of our drama is a good one as it carries 20% of our overall English marks for this semester. :)

So my role was as a ghost and more importantly as a father in a drama which was about a ...well too complicated. Tell you if you wanna know. Mail me and i'll tell you.

Gua Tempurung

Here in the areas near utp....I would say the attractions ae mostly food or actually maybe if we had more choices they might not be attractions at all. Just little little towns in between bigger towns. Haha. But we do have a few and one of it is Gua Tempurung. The first half of the semester, me, michael(roomy), jenny and Chua went.

We did no have much time so we went for the easy and exciting trail, the golden flowstone trail. It was somewhat not exciting and quite disappointing. Haha. This half of the sem we were determined to go to this Gua. We woke up early to reach the Gua as the trail was only open from 9am-12pm. Owh yeah, its the Grand Tour. 22 ringgit per person. There were eleven of us and the girls initially did not want to go for the Grand Tour as it was a wet trail but afte much persuasion, we did go. Haha. Half way through the Grand Tour we thought or at least I thought the girls were right. Haha. We had to crawl through tunnels filled with water, squad and walk. Slide down a rock which didn't seem safe at all. Go through a hole. The small of bat poop . The feeling of earth all around you. And not being able to see properly as eleven of us shared one tiny torchlight in a cave where you would not be able to see your own hands when the lights are all offed. Haha. We came out one end and thought it was done

Then the guide told us we were just half way as we had to make it back to the other opening. Haha. The total trail was 3 and a half hours. It was tiring . Sort of a regret at some point in the cave but as I look at it now...it was fun. A lot of fun. Haha.

My Indian Adventure

After so long I finally get stable internet connection to upload photos so I can post bout my Indian Night or rather UTP'S. So m y batch, the January 2008 batch is a small batch in terms of the Indian and Chinese population. There are only nine Indian guys and sadly for them, there's no Indian girls in our batch. The night was called Athiradee night. I kind of forgot what that means. Lost the flyer that explains everything.

Anyways I got myself a Jeepa for the night. Not sure how you spell it but I got the Jeepa from a street that reminds me a bit of India Street in Kuching except with more Indians. Haha.

So my Indian friends had this dance performance. A ten minute one. Guess what?? I joined in for like the last three minutes. dressing up as an Indian mafia walking from the door of the room to the stage, stopping somewhere in the middle to have a can of Red Bull and then accompanied to the stage by two Indian shemales. Haha. For there were no Indian girls in the batch, a few or most of my friends decided to dance in Saris. Haha.

After my walk I joined for the last song to dance. It was fun and exciting. A new experience. My first public dance and I was the only chinese guy performing. Sadly I don't have any photos of the performance to post up. If I do get my hand on some I'll be sure to post them up. Videos however I do have but I guess it would be just to hilarious to post them up. Haha.

Argh!! A holiday that really is too short!!

It was just last Friday when I arrived in Kuching and rushed to Open Air for a bowl of Kolo mee and sio bee. Today, a week has passed and I'm already supposed to start packing for my departure on Monday. It really is too short. My last holiday of seven weeks was too long. Haha. But maybe short holidays like these makes a person miss home more. :)

I guess the event with the most significance was my Grandma's 81st birthday. The one I left one day earlier for. 27th September. Then the day after that was my Granduncle no.6 75th Birthday. Then came Hari Raya. Visited the old lady who used to take care of my late grandmother. The only person who goes around screaming Ah Hock when she sees me. haha

Of course in between or rather everyday Anggum would come to my house in his Silver Myvi to bring me out. Then going out with friends and such. Oh yea...don't forget the 7 kolo mee and 2 laksa up till today. Still got one more laksa to eat tomorrow morning. Haha

What a day of unexpected events. Firstly it was Anggum who usually come to my house gate in his silver MyVi unexpectedly asking me out . Anggum is full of spontaneity everyday and today was no let down. Here are the words of surprise form Anggum, ' Picnic in Damai'. Damn I was excited. Haha. Then we drove around wondering what to do till twelve plus plus as chester and Julian set that to be the time to go. So we ended up asking Alvin and Adrian to join us. That itself was also unexpected. In the end me Anggum Alvin and Adrian had a dip in the sea. It was however expected of Alvin to make jokes. Then came with the joke, a bitterly surprise. A sting from a jellyfish. I knew something bit me but didn't know what. Alvin went,' what a good actor. haha. holding up your arm to show your muscles??'. Haha it was so funny. Then Adrian got stung too. Haha. And again Alvin thought Adraian was Kidding until we got out of the water and he saw the sting marks. Mine had two lines and Adrian had three. It was a bad sting but it was great for experience sake. Haha

My new erhu!!!

Maybe the title for this post is not that accurate. I think it should be my very first own erhu. Since joining the UTPOCM( University Technology Petronas Orchestra Chinese Musical) in January or was it February, I've gained some interests in playing the erhu. This semester I actually went back a week earlier just to prepare for some functions. However, I was always playing the orchestras erhu. Well it's ok but having your own instrument is much nicer and here it is, my very first own erhu!!!

Got this erhu in Kuching. A shop called Shangyin near King Centre. The guy running the shop is pretty friendly. Of course they had this peculiar looking erhu with a pink to gold shading. The sound it made was beautiful but it cost 1.8 k . WOW. Haha. Putting that beauty aside, I got this one, for a very very much cheaper price

I think I gained too much weight. I think I better watch it. I think I got to stop going out for late night suppers. Owh what the heck. I have only one week left in Kuching before I go back to UTP. Ok that statement just made UTP sound like a very bad place but it isn't. It's just that in Perak there's no kolo mee, laksa, kueh chap, sio bee, bak chang, cha kueh, etc. No insult but compare all of these to the malay food I'll have to be eating, it's like eating in a restaurant compared to going home to eat grass from your own front lawn. :) Though of over stuffing myself with food but couldn't do it. Had only a siew pau, kolo mee and bak moi. Thought of having more but did not dare to push it since there's still one week. Might try something more drastic one Sunday night though. Haha.

With a huge hole on the left side of my old Duncan basketball shoe, my dad asked me to get a new pair. But dang, the shops here in Kuching are like so not stocked up with nice basketball shoe. When I went to the new Nike shop in Spring I saw this:

So then I got this shoe. A Jordan shoe. Dylan says it's not nice but I think it's ok. The nicest one in the stores now. So now I have a new basketball shoe :)

Dylan drove us to Kenyalang but wow, it was a Kenyalang I've never been too. When I told Dylan and Adrian bout this they looked at me as though there was something wrong with my mind. Haha. The place was nice. Hidden behind the Kenyalang stores. Had sweet cha kueh, salty cha kueh and the best of all, cha kolo mee. The tastier kolo mee I've eaten in my short 17+++ yrs and if not mistaken my first ever cha kolo mee.

So Adrian wasn't lying just to get me to go Kenyalang after all. There were seriously DVD's late at night at Kenyalang. Please don't laugh, it's been awhile since I've been to Kenyalang and I think it must be like more than ten years since I've gone to have a walk at Kenyalang at night.

A day like the old days

It's been awhile since I've had a day like the good old days. Haha. Just like the good olddays, woke up this morning tired to crawl all the way to the school basketball court. But obviously I didn't literally crawl all the way to the basketball, just a figure of speech. Anyways, it was a fun basketball outing. Playing with form 2 kids. Eating in the school canteen : a bowl of tomato kueh tiao and a sausage wrapped with bread.

Playing one on one, one on two, just like the old times. Thenhere comes the greatest tradition, a long nap after basketball. Got back home and straight away went to bed. Wow it's like the best times to snooze. Your body is sore and longing for a good rest. After the quite long nap, it's shopping at the Spring . Well just hard disc cases though. There at Pc Image there was this aggressive woman who bought laptop fromt eh shop attacking the storekeeper verbally about the new laptop which i think was a compaq presario.

But anyhows fed myself four tokiwados from Magic Bite.

Got home had fish and chips.

Coming to think of it, I had fish and bread. Look at the picture above, visualize the chips replaced by bread and you'll be seeing my dinner. Haha.
Then later had fun at orchestra then went straight to Song Hin pork porridge at Open Air market for supper. All in all it was a predictable day but somehow it was nice because it felt like a walk down memory lane or some crap like that. ;)

Yay now I have a new blog which is nearly identical to the old one. Hehe. The old one was under ayahoo email. Since blogger is owned by google and yahoo and gmail are in a war, I'm like the pelanduk caught in between two elephants when they fight. Haha. Now I have control over my blog again. Basketball as usual on a Saturday morning?? Nopes!! Alvin was back and instead of a more fun and exciting basketball outing, it seemed to be yet a boring day of basketball as not many turned up to play. Again as usual people who have just come back from studies miss kolo mee. Alvin insisted on going to the coffee shop to have kolo mee. Today, i actually resisted kolo mee and instead just had a bowl of soup made of seaweed and cabbage. So proud of myself. Alvin followed me back and we hanged out. Then at night, I had a fun time at our reunion dinner.

Even then, I had a bowl of soup and chicken caesar salad. Trying to shed a few extra pounds. Got back home after a long night and now putting it all down on words. Lately hve been more focused on the class blog instead my vain blog. Haha. ; )

Seems to me like this semester break I'm spending in Kuching is really just a battle of calories versus exercise. Kolo mee, laksa, basketball and badminton. Well that's just a really short summary of what calories and exercise meant. Been eating like there's no tomorrow. It's like 3.01 p.m and here's the list of what i've eaten today: one kolo mee, wanton, 2 popia, 3 pieces of KFC, a few pieces of pizza and I guess there's lots more to come. The only thing that might save me from all these extra calories is exercise. Been playin lots of games these past few days. Badminton in the morning and basketball in the afternoon. The question is, have i burnt more than i eat?? Only time will tell. In three more weeks we will know. haha.

The 'P' Era begins...

Long long ago, well maybe just nearly seven months ago I was a hardcore passenger. A pure passenger who knew nothing bout how the car is driven. Then in December I got myself an automobile Guru 'Ah Ma' (Mdm. Lai) . Now most people looked down upon my Guru cause my Guru is the only female instructor at Kota Semarahan and some more the oldest one. But don't judge a book by it's cover. Look at Master Shi Fu from Kungfu Panda, he was small and old, but he turned Po into the ultimate dragon warrior.Don't compare me with Po cause you know 'm like a thousand times better looking and all that. You know... Haha. The point is after a few Sagas, a few Kancils , an 'L' license renewal, and many ringgits , I am now a certified 'P' driver. Remember, don't judge me by my 'P'. I mean P practically stands for protocol, procedure, and process. Anyways I got a 20/20. Perfect score. How many people have done that. I mean Brendan has but who else can say they have??? Anyways I have obtained the 'S' license long long ago. 'S' stands for skills. Now I have all three 'P' , 'L' , S '. It simply spells please. Please let me drive. Haha.

Am I ready for my driving test??

Hermmm.... sitting here blogging in my own blog and the class blog, I totally forgot all about my driving test on Wednesday until I was listing things out to put in the upcoming events place. haha. Well maybe if I had been driving as much as the time i've been spending in fornt of the computer maybe I would be a pro. Anyhows, I'm confident in myself ace-ing the test. The hill, the side parking, the three point turning, and the road should be ok. Maybe prepare a bit of bribe with me?? haha . Anyways will be waiting to pass the test so I can drive the two cars at home.

I know, they're not the greatest cars or maybe even great cars. But would you rather walk?? With the petrol price at wad , RM2.68 I'd rather drive and pay for the petrol of these two cars compared to a BMW or a Benz. Don't under estimate proton cars. Tomoro will be my last lesson before my test. Maybe I should give my instructor a scare on the road. haha.

So far going through tonnes of blogs, i realised that most blogs have a short introduction post about the blogger or about the topics that would be discussed. Maybe it would be nice if I too had a introduction post bout myself since I hope this blog to be about me n things or people around me. Ok so I'm a guy. Let's get that straighten out. On the 21st of November 1990, the world felt that something great was going to happen, it was me. I was born into this world.That makes me eighteen this coming November. Of course throughour this 17++ years i've gone through multiple ups and downs and now i'm studying at Universiti Teknologi Petronas(UTP) in Perak. Previously I studied at Tadika Sri Keria, St. Jude Kindergarten, SRB St. Joseph and then SMB St. Joseph. I come from a family of five. Two sisters, a mother and a father. Gosh I feel as though i'm in an interview room where thay start with a crappy question, 'can you please introduce yourself and your background'. HAHA.
